Charles M'Keown, James Cavanagh, and John Curran, for entering the house of James Duffy, on the 16th of February, and taking therefrom two drawers, containing some copper coins. Cavanagh, a very little boy, pleaded guilty, the other two were found guilty; they were all well-known offenders. Cavanagh and M‘Keown to be transported to be transported for 7 years. There another charge against Curran, and, therefore, he did not receive sentence.  Belfast Commercial Chronicle, 18 April 1842.
