Aged 31yrs; widow, 1 child; Protestant; can read; dressmaker; 5'2"; native place -Co. Londonderry; dark complexion; dk brown hair; blue eyes. (No details on given on record as to whether child accompanied her. Not admitted to Queens Orphanage, Hobart.) Assignments of service in the Colony. 22/03/1853: Delivered of a child at the Female House of Correction, but it lived only a very short time. 18/07/1854: Application for permission to marry William Lewis (transported on the Pestongee Bomongee). 07/08/1854: Married William Lewis, at Launceston. (ref. 1111/1854-37) 26/12/1854: Ticket of Leave 09/06/1857: Conditional Pardon Listed as a Colonial Family (Catharine is however recorded as "Catharine Carry")
