On Thursday, the following 16 Convicts left the Castle, in order to be delivered on board the Hulks lying up the , below Woolwich, James Dixon, Wm. Hardisty, John Spencer, John Midgley, James Gavins, Joseph Tillotson, John Kenworthy, Isaac Plats, Thomas Hague, Titus Kent, Wm. Parkes, James Curtis, William Wilkinson, John Brown, Charles Penny, and Charles Fowler. Yorkshire Gazette, 19 Aug 1820. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- List of 33 prisoners transported to Port Macquarie on board Sally, dated 26 Nov 1823, Sydney. They did not proceed per Sally, but were forwarded per ship Lady Nelson, 17 Dec 1823. James Curtis, tried Crim Court, Sydney, Oct & Nov 1823, Life sentence in double irons. Trade, Cutter. TUESDAY.—Edward Migniotte, James Curtis, John Bryan and Peter Coleman, were indicted for stopping and robbing William Coleman and Richard Brewer, on the king's highway, near Knapsack Valley, on the Bathurst road.
