Edit of previous notes supplied 18/4/2013 as follows:William fathered a total of 15 children i.e. 11 in England including 4 children who either died in infancy or at or soon after birth prior to his transportation. Four more children were born in Tasmania with his second wife Emily Mary Williams, they being Mary Ann 1856,William jnr.1857, Henry George 1859, and John 1860

William Dabner son of James and Elizabeth Dabner was born 26th May 1805 in Wilmington Kent. Married Sophia Farrance 16th August 1829 in Rochester and fathered at least 9 children 1834 to 1848. Sentenced aged 43 in January 1849 to 10 years transportation for the theft of ONE sheep...not effected until 4 years into his sentence in March 1852, destination Tasmania. Married Emily Mary Williams 2nd February 1856 in New Norfolk...she bore their first child Mary Ann Dabner ONE MONTH later 3rd March 1856. Three boys were subsequently born to the marriage...William 1857, Henry George 1859, John 1860. William Dabner Snr...father to at least 13 children in total died 29th November 1881 in Launceston. Note:Further information will be furnished in due course
