Samuel Was 43 years old, 5'8 1/2" tall, bro hair, grey eyes, sallow complexion, middling stout, slightly pockpitted, semi literate and protestant. Samuel was married to Hannah Farrant in 1849 they had 3 children. 1881 Census: Hannah is described as a widow, with her are Elizabeth 31, Rose 29 and George 29, all unmarried. 9/4/1854: TOL 9/4/1868: CP at Newcastle WA. 29/8/1870 COF Known areas: Perth, Fremantle, Toodyay. Samuel was a general servant, labourer, worked for himself 1865-66, Butcher. 29/8/1870: To Pt de Galle (Mauritius). Samuel is not recorded as having died in England, so probably never returned.
