Sarah Dailey was transported on the Kitty, departing 31st Dec 1791 and arriving 18th Nov 1792 with 32 passengers.
The 'Kitty' merchant built ship at Sunderland in 1787. In 1790 she carried slaves from the Gold Coast to Jamaica. Then in 1792 she transported convicts and goods from England to New South Wales, Australia. Voyage to Australia: After leaving England in March 1792 she sprung a leak and had to return to Spithead for repairs, departing again in April. 8 of the 10 male prisoners escaped. Only 30 female convicts, 3 died during the voyage. Carried supplies of stores and provisions for the Colony.

She had a first relationship with unknown & produced 1child: Sarah (Dailey) does not have an entry on this Website as yet-added by me. 1.Elizabeth (Dailey) was born in 1793. She married Thomas (Jones) on 8 3 1807 at St Phillips CofE Sydney & became responsible for 4children. Thomas (Jones) was born about 1779 & became servant to a respactable gentleman. He & his supposed brother James (Jones/Adams) were tried for Highway robbery & stealing a watch etc of Henry (Hiscocks) at Salisbury Wiltshire Assizes in 1801, sentenced to death (James was executed at Fisherton on 24 3 1801) reprieved to Life, held on prison hulks & arrived in NSW on 14 8 1802 after a voyage of 7months on PERSEUS. He was Free by Servitude by 1796. He produced 6children in his lifetime. William (Douglas) does not have an entry on this Website as yet; added by me.
