Rachel and Hannah Dainty, two girls, were each sentenced to short imprisonments as reputed thieves. Several stolen articles were traced to their possession, but the owners were not in attendance to prosecute. Staffordshire Advertiser, 25 Sep 1847. WALSALL. QUARTER SESSIONS, TUESDAY, JAN. Before N. Hannah Dainty, (previously convicted of felony, for stealing on the 29th of November a pair of trowsers and other articles, the property of William Llewellyn and Eleanor Cleobury, of Walsall - Transported for ten years.
