Mary Daley was convicted at Waterford, Ireland on 21 Oct 1850 for Arson - setting fire to a haystack. 7yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the 'Blackfriar' arriving 29 May 1851. Country servant; aged 20yrs; 5' 0 1/2"; pale complexion; reddish hair; blue eyes. Roman Catholic. Native place - Co. Cork Brothers - John & Patrick Assignments in Colony 4 Oct 1853: Married John Parsons at Westbury. 26 Dec 1854: Ticket of Leave granted.
