1852 - UK, Royal Navy Medical Journals, Placed on Sick List; No; 130. 10 December 1852 Age; 24 years old [born abt Disease; Dysentery Discharged; 19 December 1852 - Hospital 1853 - 6 January 1853 Prisoners Barracks 1853 - 10 March 1853. Accidently killed at Gt Swan Port. Douglas River Coal Works. Sat down near the edge at the mouth of a shaft and falling asleep accidently fell head down the shaft] distance about 80 feet] and striking his head against the drawing buckets in the shaft, received a fracture to his skull mortal injury No; 26717. Trial; 7 March 1849. Offence; Stealing a pair of clogs from the Farmhouse of John Mann near Seaford Was hired as a boatman and discarded in a strange place without money by the man who hired his services Parents and relatives though poor, are honest people and worthy menbers of a religious community
