7/9/1827 Chester Chronicle Cheshire, England: Assize Intelligence SAMUEL DAVENPORT, 23, charged with stealing a razor and other articles from the stable of William Jones, of Cholmondeley, the property of Thos. Shone.__Transported for life. Samuel Davenport was 24 years old on arrival. Native Place: Cheshire. Samuel could read, was married with 1 child, 5'10ΒΌ" tall, fresh ruddy complexion, brown hair, dark hazel eyes, female figure SD on upper right arm, mermaid on lower, male figure jug and glass on left arm, long scar inside right knee. Samuel was convicted for stealing a watch from a stable/saddlery. He served his time, but, as yet, there is no record of him returning to England
