Lazarus Davey was 19 years old when convicted. 17/2/1829: Absconded from the Hyde Park Barracks, described as: 25 years old, 5'3 1/2" tall, grey eyes, brown hair, ruddy complexion. 20/1/1827: Absconded from Rolland's Plains, Port Macquarie. 23/1/1835: Application to marry Elizabeth Gilham (Burrell 1832). Elizabeth Gilham was apparently still married so the wedding did not happen. 15/8/1838: Married Mary Cope Martin (1820-1858) at Maitland, they had 3 children. 1833: TOL Maitland 1837: TOL Maitland 30/11/1849: CP 1/1/1840: CP 17/10/1843: Lazarus died at the Newcastle Hospital. 1852: Mary married John Slack Smith (1790-1865) they had 2 children.
