After David's death, Priscilla remarried in 1876. Marriages Ref 3080/1876. Patrick Clements and Priscilla E Missingham, Kiama District. KIAMA POLICE COURT. Tuesday, August 19. BEFORE the Police Magistrate. Priscilla Clements (Jamberoo), appeared to answer the charge of having neglected to send her daughter, Jane Messingham, of the age of twelve years, to school for the seventy days required by law. during the half year ending 30th June, 1884. Mr. G. C James (school attendance officer), said that he did not wish to press the case; and on defendant promising to send the girl regularly in future, was fined in the nominal sum of is without costs, or twenty-four hours in the lockup. The fine was paid. Kiama Independent, 22 Aug 1884.

n the Supreme Court of New South Wales. ECCLESIASTICAL JURISDICTION. In the will of David Messingham, late of Jamberoo, in the county of Camden, in the Colony of New South Wales, farmer, deceased. NOTICE is hereby given, that after the expiration of fourteen days from the publication hereof, in the New South Wales Government Gazette, application will be made to this Honorable Court, in its Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, that probate of the last will and testament of the above named David Messingham, deceased, may be granted to David Lindsay Waugh, formerly of Waughope, Jamberoo, but now residing at Balmain, in the City of Sydney, the executor therein named.—Dated this 13th day of March, a.d. 1874. Fighting on the Public Road. — David Messingham of Jamberoo was brought up yesterday by constable Goddard, who charged him with fighting with William Watson on the Jamberoo road opposite Laud's public-house, on the second of October. The charge was proven, and Messingham who was the aggressor was fined 10s. and costs. Illawarra Mercury, 12 Oct 1857. This was Mr. David Messingham, a native, I think I have heard, of the County of Oxfordshire, and who had attained the age, it is said, of about seventy five years, But don't think there is any body who can speak positively on either of these points. He was to be buried, I believe, today, Wednesday, the 4th March. Kiamo Independent, Thurs 5 Mar 1874. DEATHS.
