Morris, charged with stealing a tin box, containing gold, silver, &e. from the … of John Draper, at Kensington, St. Margaret's, Westminster—Davis, transported 14 years ; Austen and Morris, ordered to remain in Gaol until the next Assizes. Maidstone Journal, 25 March 1828. AUSTEN, CHARLES, and James Morris, remaining from last assizes, acquitted of larceny, but standing charged on oath, as necessaries after the fact, to felony, in harbouring a felon, knowing him to have committed felony, were ordered to remain in Gaol until the next assizes— Both Acquitted.
