Early in June 1834, one hundred men embarked in the Lady Kennaway at Woolwich, transferees from the 537 ton barque Norfolk which had abandoned her voyage after being forced back three times. James Davis was born at Fleet Marson near Aylesbury. He was 24 years old on arrival, 5'8" tall, brown complexion, dark brown hair and eyes and thin whiskers, he had a hesitation in his speech. Married - wife: Sarah 1835: Assigned to Mr. E. D. Wedge. 17/2/1843 TOL.

James Davis Was sentenced to 3 year imprisonment at Moreton bay 1 year after arriving in new Holland.
