Tried and convicted with William Dawkins (Lady Nugent); Joseph Finnegan (Hero); John Ward (Susan) and George King (Hive) in January/February 1840. Entered together in entrance book but may just be a coincidence. Found Guilty of being at large with fire arms. Sentenced to Penal Settlement for Life. Transported to Norfolk Island on 28 February 1840. Some particulars are that he was of slender build: 5 ft 4 1/2 inches; sallow complexion; dark hair; Hazel Eyes;face was pock pitted; Religion, Jewish and Native Place Bong Bong(?).
