Malachy DAWLEY (senior) was convicted at Cork, Ireland in 1824 for burglary. His son, also Malachy DAWLEY was co-convicted. Both received Life sentences but transported to New South Wales, Australia per the ship ‘Lonach’ in 1825.

Aged 61 yrs; a labourer; married man.
Native place: Co. Cork, Ireland
Son: Malachy DAWLEY
(A Michael DAWLEY was also convicted and transported on the same ship so most likely a relative?)
