353 tons. 1831 voyage from Britain to Australia: Capt William Lushington GOODWIN. Surgeon: Thrasycles CLARKE. Several children of the female convicts accompanied them. One of the seamen, Charles Picknell, kept a diary of the voyage and excerpts have been published.

Last week a coroner’s jury in Berwick, which sat on the body of John Murray, who died there recently, in consequence of a stroke he had received on the head with an iron coal rake, on the 21th of December last, brought verdict of wilful murder against Mary Dawson, a woman with whom Murray had cohabited.— Caledonian Mercury Globe, 15 Feb 1830
