NATIVE PLACE: Romsey, Hampshire. He was single. TRIED: 1 March 1834 for assault and robbery; he had previous convictions, including one for poaching and another for assault (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON31-1-10$init=CON31-1-10p164). 1840, 22 March: Charles Day died at Oatlands (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON31-1-10$init=CON31-1-10p164).
