Family connections for Mary (Day) are: DAY Mary (Day nee Morgan) was born on 16 11 1801 at Cork Ireland & at some point became a fruitere & publican. She married Henry (Day) at St Martins in the Field Westminster; who had deserted her before her trial. She was tried for stealing books probably at Old Bailey in 1829, sentenced to 7years, held at Middlesex Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW as a convict on 29 11 1829 after a voyage of 4.5months on LUCY DAVIDSON: she had been married & had children. On 4 11 1834 she obtained permission to marry secondly Charles (Chamberlain his second marriage) at St Matthews CofE Windsor & produced 2children; she was Catholic. She was issued her Certificate of Freedom on 11 4 1836. She produced 2known children in her lifetime. [Some details taken from this Website] Charles (Chamberlain) was born about 1772/82. He served in British Army for 16years. He was tried for highway robbery at Leicester Assizes Leicestershire, sentenced to Life & arrived in NSW as a convict on 7 2 1814 after a voyage of 6months on GENERAL HEWITT; he was Protestant. He was asessed for his Ticket of Leave in 1822 when he was working for George M (Woodhouse) at Airds. He started a first relationship with Mary (Earle her second relationship-while still with her husband) & later married her. He is recorded in 1828 as farmer with his family at Richmond with 25acres & again in 1831. He was Free by Servitude by 1828. He wa Free by Servitude when he married with permission Mary (Earle her second marriage) on 6 7 1829 at St Peters CofE Richmond. He was issued his Conditional Pardon on 16 10 1834. He was issued his Certificate of Freedom on 27 4 1837. He was recorded in 1841 at March St Richmond Cumberland Windsor. He died on 11 5 1875 age about103 father of 4children at his sons residnce Mount Robinson/Robertson Naomi River Narrabri.
