Thomas arrived as per Mangles 1822 and was forwarded to Parramatta. He received his TOL 27 June 1827 on condition that he remain in Hunter River. 11 June 1829 he received his COF. 7 September applied for Banns to marry Judith Daly. Thomas Dea/O'Dea married Judith Daly on 13 February 1832 Church of England SchoolHouse at Maitland. In June 1839 Thomas purchased 1500 acres near Cedar Creek Wollombi. Unfortunately Thomas suffered from manic depression and was admitted to St Anne's Lunatic Asylum September 3 1841 and died on December 21 1841. Unfortunately no burial location has ever been found, however it is believed he was buried at St Anne's Ryde. Surname alternates between DEA/O'DEA/DAY depending on the record.
