George Mitchell, aged 35, and James Deacon, aged 19, were found guilty of robbing the warehouse Mr. Timothy Ross and his partners, already mentioned in this paper. Leicester Chronicle, 30 March 1822. The following convicts were removed fast week from the said Gaol, tp be put board the Justitia Hulk, at Woolwich, sentenced to be transported for the term of seven years: George Mitchell, James Deacon, Robert West, Richard Losesdy, George Elliott, John Henson, & Henry Ratcliff. Leicester Chronicle, 11 May 1822.
