Native Place: Calcutta Married man; aged approx. 23yrs; labourer; black complexion; black hair; dk brown eyes. Station Gang: Jerusalem, VDL. Emerged 23/04/1846. Assignments: Launceston, Morven (Evandale), Norfolk Plains, Perth, Tunbridge, Campbell Town, Cressy, Adelphi, Westbury, Port Sorell. several records of misconduct such as neglect of duty and drunk and disorderly. Ticket of Leave 30/07/1850 Conditional Pardon 13/06/1852 06/03/1876: Westbury - disorderly. 7days h.l. 23/10/1876: Deloraine - disorderly. 2mths h.l.




Deally was convicted at Port Louis on 26/09/1844 for robbery - stealing clothes from a woman. 10yr transportation sentence. Transported on the 'Dawsons' arriving 17/01/1845.
