He was tried for stealing a ring at Dublin city in 1814, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 13 1 1819 after a voyage of 6months on TYNE; he was Catholic 5'7" dark medium? complexion brown hair hazel eyes. He is recorded in 1828 as a shopkeeper at Windsor. He married Mary Ann (Izzard age16) on 13 10 1829 at St Matthews CofE Windsor. He died on 27 3 1853 age56 at MacDonald River. The Tyne was 462 tons and carried 180 Irish male convicts and 95 passengers from Cork, Ireland. There was one death on the voyage. The mother, Ann, was herself, the daughter of Edward Scott (Sailor, 1790, "Lady Juliana") and Mary Ann Pardoe (Second Fleet Convict, 1790, "Lady Juliana").
