395 ton ship. Departed Cork, Ireland for New South Wales, Australia 1809. After leaving Australia, for New Zealand, the vessel was set upon by natives from Bay of Islands and most onboard the ship were massacred (including cannibalization). The boat was captured and towed to Motu Wai (Red Island) were it was totally destroyed.

On list of prisoners to be sent to Newcastle per "Elizabeth Henrietta" Edward Dempsey, per Boyd, Free, Convicted by Crim. Court, 29 Sept 1817, seven year sentence. -------------------------------------------------- COURT OF CRIMINAL JURISICTION Wednesday. Edward Dempsey, for breaking and entering the store house of Capt. Joseph James, in Elizabeth-street, and stealing therefrom several kegs of butter and one coil of rope, was found guilty, and remanded for sentence.
