Sydney Quarter Sessions. Thomas Dempsey, George Meadley, and John Gibson, were indicted for being found on board a ship with intent to escape from the colony before the expiration of their sentences of transportation. The Jury found the prisoners not guilty, and they were discharged. Sydney Morning Herald, 9 Dec 1847.
