Lister or Lester Dennis (most records of his arrival list him as 'Lister') was transported for 'firing a barn and building'. Tried in 1851, he had already spent time in prison in England. 9/11/1855: TOL 2/11/1861: CP Known areas: Northam. 13/4/1860: Married Jane Kidd at Glen Avon - they had 3 children listed. Jane Kidd died in 1866. 15/12/1866: Married Dinah/Dianna Rosor at Guildford - they had 8 children listed on the BDM but apparently Lester had 12 children altogether. Lester farmed around the Irish Town and Toodyay districts. Lester died at Toodyay WA. Dianna died 24/8/1910 at Guildford WA.
