Family connections for Bryan (Devlin) are: DEVLIN Bryan (Devlin/Develin) was born about 1798 & became a dyer. He was tried for stealing money at Dublin city Ireland in September 1818, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 29 9 1820 after a voyage 5months on DOROTHY. He was living at Parramatta when he married Frances (Tuckwell) on 21 4 1823 at St Marys RC Sydney. He was recorded in 1823 as living at Parramatta & in 1826 as a labourer. He is recorded in 1828 as Free by Servitude settling with his family at Prospect. He died in 1861 age63. [Some details taken from this Website] Frances (Tuckwell) was born on 2 12 1805 & baptised on 14 7 1816 age10 w/Elizabeth, George at St Johns CofE Parramatta. She is recorded in 1828 with her family at Prospect. Bryan (Devlin) & Frances (Tuckwell) produced 6children: girls 1.Catherine (Devlin) was born in 1824 & baptised on 18 7 1824 at St Maryys RC Sydney.
