Catherine Devoy was 22 years old on arrival in VDL and was transported for 'stealing a gown'. Her occupation was a 'Nursemaid/Needlewoman'. Catherine was 4'11 1/2" tall, freckled complexion, brown hair, grey eyes, scar on forehead, deformed in right foot, illiterate, RC and her native place was Kildare. 26/2/1850: TOL 11/11/1850: Free Certificate. 1857: Married Richard Merry (Neptune 1837) in Ballarat, Victoria. 6 children listed. No date of death found.
