Parents: William Dickerson & Sarah Millington. Brother to John Dickerson (Cornwall 1851). Married Ann Brand 1 June 1831 Christ Church, Spitalfields, Stepney, London. Two children Mary Emma (1832, Balsham) and Elizabeth Brand (1834, Balsham). Permission to marry 8 Sept. 1841 Convict William Dickerson permission to marry Mary Ann Madden (free) ref: CON 52/1/2, p.34. RGD37/2,1842/1370 Married 6 May 1842, Hamilton, Tasmania. 3 children, Mary Ann Elizabeth (24 Oct. 1841 Hamilton), John James (2 June 1843, Ouse) William Joseph (1845 Ouse). Mary Ann Madden emigrated 18 June 1833 arrived 9 October 1833 in Hobart on "Edward Colston" from Liverpool. Believed born Dublin.
