Louisa, Surgeon’s Journal. ADM 101/45/6/11827 Folios 9-13: case no 7, Mary Dickinson, aged 21, convict, taken ill at sea; sick or hurt, fever (synochus), felt unwell for three days past with loss of appetite, a sensation of cold water running down the spine, general chilliness, complaints of pain of forehead, vertigo, severe pain in the loins; put on sick list 1 September 1827, discharged 26 September 1827 cured.
