In the colony, Elizabeth married Joseph Eyles (Convict, 1801, "Canada"). 1804 p.43 mo.161 Joseph Syles of the parish of St John and Elizabeth Dixon of ditto were married in this church by banns this sixth day of November in the year one thousand eight hundred and four by me Samuel Marsden. Joseph signed the register and Elizabeth made her X mark in the register in the presence of William Brown and Sarah Beddleston who both made their X marks in the register. In the 1806 Muster Elizabeth is mentioned... [Ref 1350 page 36] Dixon, Elizabeth, Experiment, at the Factory Parramatta. In the 1811 Muster, Elizabeth [Ref 1642 page 37] is mentioned as being in Hobart? Dixon, Elizabeth, Experiment, tried 1802, 7 years. It seems that Elizabeth died in 1811 and in 1805, Joseph remarried.
