NEWSPAPER REPORT OF IRISH CRIME: Freemans Journal Sat 5 Oct 1793, p 4. “TRIALS at the THOLSEL, “Before Denis George Esq, Recorder of the City of Dublin. “THURSDAY OCT 3 “John Murray, for stealing 4 shirts and other articles the property of Patrick Lynham. “John Dillon, and Eliza Dillon, for stealing a sattin cloak, and other articles, the property of Patrick Kivans. All to be transported for seven years.” Elizabeth/Eliza may have been the wife of John Dillon. John Dillon was also on board - he died 26/5/1798 and was buried at the Old Sydney Burial Ground.
