Hobart Town Government Gazette Saturday March 17, 1827. George Dixon was committed for trial for stealing a jacket from Thomas Macdermott.




Stamford Mercury Lincolnshire, England 26 Sep 1823 Samuel Broadhead and George Dixon, of Stockwith, for trial at the next assizes, on a charge of robbing John Johnson, on the King's highway. (Samuel Broadhead arrived per Minera 1824 to NSW). George was 20 years old on arrival in VDL, 5'5" tall, dark brown hair and eyes, single, scar left side of head over ear among the hair. 1830-33 Musters: Assigned to Mr G. C. Clark 1835: TOL 27/2/1838: CP 14/10/1845: CP extended to include all Colonies. 1840: Permission to marry Ann Jarvis (New Grove) - no registration found.
