Sheriff White yesterday received a respite for Patrick Blaney, Patrick Doherty, and Thomas Adderley, under sentence, of death for the robbery of Counsellor Scully’s house. The joy of the unfortunate men can scarcely be described when the communication was made to them the Sheriff, who did not leave the gaol yard until the whole of the irons were knocked off. Patrick Dogherty was 45 years old when transported for 'Burglary with intent to rob'. 16/9/1819: Transferred to VDL per 'Admiral Cockburn'.
