Tyrone IRE Desc: brown hair, fresh complexion, light hazel eyes, face slightly freckled, 5'1.25" tall, illiterate, RC, Birthplace: Omagh, Co. Tyrone IRE Married 3 Feb 1851 - Joseph Lefevre at Avoca. They had 2 children. In 1853 Joseph was reconvicted for a crime & sentenced to further 7 years gaol. Catherine met James Foley about 1853/54 at Oatlands where he was working as a constable. They formed a defacto relationship (common law marriage) Weren't officially married until 8 Dec 1877 at Port Sorell. They had 8 children together. Residences: Avoca, Oatlands, Torquay, East Devonport Died 26 Sep 1914 at East Devonport. Examiner Launceston 28 Sep 1914 Death Notices: "Catherine leaves a family of 5 sons and 2 daughters, 50 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren"
