Galway Assizes terminated on Saturday, and the Judges departed for Dublin. In addition to the three men for the burglary and attack on Counsellor Reed, who are to be hanged 5th May, there are four other capital convictions . Patrick Mercer, and Martin Mercer, for abduction; Peter Donnellan, for sheep stealing, and Michael Donnellan, for horse stealing. Limerick Chronicle,18 April 1827.
