Married Ann Johnson (Britannia III 1798). Had five sons. Living and farming in Appin area by 1812. Appears to have died 1824/5 - convict he was assigned in 1824 was reassigned in 1825.

Was sentenced at the Lent Assizes for Southampton. He was found guilty and sentenced to death. Fortunately, this was then commuted to "Being transported to the Eastern Coast of New South Wales or some one or other of the islands adjacent for and during the term of their natural lives".
