Please note there are two Mary Donnolly's on this sailing of the 'Blackfriar' - this Mary is denoted as the 2nd. Mary Donnolly was convicted at Tyrone on 01/07/1850 for Larceny. 1 previous conviction. 10yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the 'Blackfriar', arriving 29/05/1851. Aged 33yrs; housemaid; 4'10"; single. Ship Surgeon's Report: very good. Native Place: Dundalk, Ireland. Assignments of service in Hobart and southern districts. 29/05/1853: Married Walter Paisley (registered under the spelling of "Donnally". ref. 956/1853-37) Serveral records of misconduct. Ticket of Leave 29/11/1856. Revoked 20/10/1857. Restored 09/02/1858. Conditional Pardon 29/11/1859 Certificate of Freedom 21/08/1860 Franklin district.
