Ellen Donovan, 21 yrs, single, can read, a glove maker, convicted of stealing a watch from the person, sentenced to 10 yrs at Cold-Bath-Fields on the 16 Mar 1848. Once previously convicted, 3 times imprisoned. Prison Registers and Statistical Returns - page 189 1843-1850 HO 24/12
