The 1825 Journey. The ship Mariner, Captain Fotherley, arrived from Ireland with female prisoners, on Sunday evening. She left the Cove of Cork, the 12th of March, and brings 112 female prisoners, having lost only one on the passage. A few passengers also came per this opportunity. She was tried for stealing at Cork Ireland in 1824, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 10 7 1825 after a journey of 4months on MARINER; she was Catholic. She seems to have had a first relationship with John (Francis his first relationship) & produced 1child. [Some details taken from this Website] John (Francis) was born in 1807. He married secondly Jane (L'Andre/Landrin) on 3 3 1828 at Christ Church Castlereagh. He died on 16 11 1850 age about43 father of 1known child.
