William Donovan notorious sheep-stealer, was having exercised his calling  by the driving away of sheep and three lambs, property of Coghan,  Guilty, and ordered to be transported for 7 years. Southern Reporter, 19 Aug 1830. Donovan was indicted for stealing two sheep and three Lambs, Guilty. To be transported for seven years. Cork Constitution, 19 August 1830.
