Tried in Limerick, 24 July 1841, sentence 10 years, for Cow-stealing. Stated- Stealing a cow from John Purcell, single, age 19, Roman catholic, can read. Trade- labourer. Native place, Clare. From March 1846, until Jan 1849, remarks refer to his being a constable. Ticket of Leave, 15 June 1847. C.P. approved, 30 Jan 1849.
