HOBART TOWN. Arrivals.— December 29.— Tenasserim, barque, M’Kenzie, master, from Calcutta 17th October, with sugar, rice, &c., and 20 male prisoners. Passengers — Dr. Wootten, Captain Apperley, 4th Light Cavalry, Mrs. Apperley and three children, Captain Lloyd, Mr. Parry, five rank and file 4th Light Cavalry, one woman and child, John Gill, and Mrs. Mason. Lost a prisoner over board on the passage. The Shipping Gazette and Sydney General Trade List, Jan 18 1845.




413.Jeremiah Dooling. RC. native of Co. Cork. Age 24. Tried Bombay Ct. Ml. 14 Dec 1843, 14 years. Transported for Desertion and making away with 8 pounds of ammunition. I was in 17th Regiment. Ct. Ml, striking a sergeant, 30 days solitary . 17th Regiment 4 years. Many incidents on record. Cert. Hobart, 21 Dec 1857.
