Thomas Dooner was 24 years old on arrival and his native place was County Longford. Thomas had been a soldier in the 65th Regiment - went missing for 12 hours, was then charged with desertion. Thomas was 5'8" tall, single, black hair, hazel eyes, could read and write a little, protestant, D on left side, scar on left cheek. 1 brother, Patrick in Ireland. Conduct Record: Bad. 13/7/1841: Feloniously robbing Joseph Walker, being armed with an offence weapon - fully committed to trial. 6/8/1841: Thomas was executed.
