Tried: Glasgow, 25 Sep 1826, Transportation – 7 years; Per Princess Charlotte, 27 March 1827, New South Wales. ------------------------------------------------------------- Circuit Court, Glasgow. Elizabeth Douglas or Hassan, charged with stealing from the house of John Russel, bleacher at Govanshall, £11 10s in money, a silver watch with a  gold seal attached to it, and a number of articles, chiefly wearing apparel, pleaded Guilty, and was sentenced to transportation for seven years. Glasgow Herald, 29 Sep 1826.
