Thomas Downes, alias Downs, age on arrival, 38, per Hadlow (2) 1820, Tried 1819 at Clare, Life, DOB, 1782, native place, Limerick Co., Trade, Labourer. ------------------------------------------------------ Thomas Downes, horse stealing; to be executed on the 14th of August. Limerick Gazette, 3 Aug 1819. -------------------------------------------------- Patrick Sullivan, John Rogers Daniel Ready, John Neagle, John Conway, Richard Brogden, otherwise Nolan, Richard Nolan. John Noonan, and Thomas Downes, who were to hanged on the 14th instant, have been respited until further orders — Ennis Chronicle, Dublin Weekly Register, 14 Aug 1819.
