17 March 1825 – daughter Elizabeth Muldoon born to Mary Downey at Parramatta Factory 13 Aug – 4 Sept 1825 – James Muldoon on pay list of constables employed at Parramatta 1825 – James Muldoon on convict muster (holding a ticket of leave) housekeeper Parramatta and Sydney 1825 – James Kerwin (convict) who arrived Ann & Amelia in 1825 was Govt Servant to James Muldoon… he appears twice in muster, once in Parramatta and once in Sydney, with the householder being James Muldoon in Parramatta and James Maceldoon in Sydney. It is noted on the records that James Muldoon appears not to be the landholder. Possibly John Palmer was landholder? 23 March 1826 - Mary Downey – gaol entrance book from General Sessions court Sydney - refusing to work and disobedience to her mistress - to the 3rd class factory 25 March 1826 4 April 1826 – newspaper article – COLONIAL SECRETARY'S OFFICE, APRIL 4, 1826. THE GOVERNOR has been pleased to approve of the following Alterations in the Police of the Colony: Parramatta James Muldoon, dismissed for improper Conduct at the Female Factory. 4 May 1826 – Permission to marry Mary Downey 20 August 1828 – witness in court case FOR THE DEFENCE. Mary Muldoon- I am a married woman, and my husband lives at Mr. Palmer's estate of Hambledon Farm at Vinegar Hill; I know where Michael O'Brien lives, and remember mending a pair of trowsers that had been torn by a dog; I know that all the doors were open, but I do not know into what bed-room I went, but there could not have been any persons there without my knowing it. James Muldoon- I recollect being at Michael O' Briens on the day when Wilks was torn by a dog; I was there about 11 o'Clock in the morning, and stopped there until I went home in the evening; I saw nothing extraordinary about the house, and I do not think it possible for any person to have been there without my knowing it; my wife mended the trowsers of Wilks. The Sydney Gazette and New South Wales Advertiser (NSW : 1803 – 1842 – Fri 22 August 1828) November 1828: muster return: James Muldoon 50yrs; Mary Muldoon 30yrs; Elizabeth Muldoon 3yrs – Wilberforce, Hawkesbury Trade at 1828: Tailor 5 March 1829 – Mary Downey received certificate of freedom 1 April 1829 – John Connor, for larceny from the person Mary Muldoon, at Wilberforce, on the 1st of April last—Not Guilty. 1832 – Patrick Muldoon born 1837 – Catherine Muldoon born 1841 – Census return: Parish of Prospect, District of Parramatta 1841 - Elizabeth Muldoon, age 16yrs, marries Hugh Doyle Bathurst Kelso 1841 – James age 66yrs; Mary age 46yrs; Patrick age 9yrs and Catherine age 4yrs move to Hartley area. 2 May 1847 – James Muldoon dies at Hartley/Lowther (gravestone says 31st April 1847 – 83yrs) cause unknown. Buried at Hartley Roman Catholic Cemetry 6 June 1848 – Mary Muldoon advertises in paper for horse with markings ‘JM’ 1849 - Mary Muldoon marries Thomas Hines at Hartley Mary Hines (nee Muldoon; nee Downey) dies in a tragic horse/dray accident near Lowther on her way home from Hartley

Surgeons Journal Mary Downie treated 22nd December 1822 at Cork Harbour. Short stature and sallow complexion. Led a dissolute life. Sudden stop of catamenia on the way from Dublin.
