Kinnear Indent. https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON14-1-17$init=CON14-1-17P20 and https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON14-1-17$init=CON14-1-17P21 Terence Downey, tried at Queens, 26 October 1841, 7 years, age 23, height 5ft 8 ½, catholic, can read and write, single. Offence: Stealing a pair of shoes, p. Brennon; once for a coat- 3 months; 12 months for a similar offence; once in prison for misconduct. 24 hours solitary – for stealing £5 from a fellow prisoner whilst in gaol. 3 days and nights in solitary confinement. Surgeon’s Report: indifferent. Trade, tailor. Native place, Queens Co. Remarks: Father, Patrick, M, Mary; 2B 1 S, Patrick, Cornelius, Mary, at N.P.
