Frederick Dring was 24 years old on arrival. Native Place: Lincolnshire. Gaol Report: often in prison & idle. Frederick was 5'6 1/2" tall, brown hair, blue eyes, sallow complexion, single. 29/7/1845: TOL 12/3/1849: Certificate. November 1853: In Hobart. 24/7/1866: A Tailor in Hobart. 4/3/1876 Launceston Examiner: CAMPBELL TOWN. To-day (Thursday) another man named Frederick Dring, aged 75, was admitted, having broken his thigh by a fall over some stones in the road at Ross. No date of death found.
