The Convict Indentures state Johanna Driscoll was32years old. She could neither read or write; religion Roman Catholic; status single and a native of County Clare. She was an laundress. Johanna was convicted of stealing a clock at Cork in July 1837 and sentenced to 7 years. She had one prior conviction and served 4 months. Physical Attributes: Height: 5 feet 0 1/2 inches; complexion fair ruddy and freckled; hair brown and eyes brown. Transport number 5. Prisoner number 5-38.
